The guest room

After we got electricity run through the exterior walls on the 1st floor, we started putting up drywall. The plan is to put drywall around the exterior walls (in nice, big, full sheets), and then frame up the interior walls and run electricity to those. Attaching the drywall is great, it's looks like you accomplish a ton in just a short period of time. Carrying the drywall from the basement to the upper floors isn't as much fun. We tried to use the biggest sheets we could get ahold of, in this case, 14 feet. They were pretty hard to deal with, but will save on the finish work later.

We started the drywall in the corner of the 1st floor that will be the guest room. Want to mak
e sure that every thing is ready when you all come to visit us. Once we got the drywall up, we started putting in the interior walls that Eric and I had framed up. Once we get the electricity in to those, we'll be all ready for you to move in.

Julie tests her skills, and her fear of heights, attaching drywall over the basement stairs.
