a day of railings

Finishing up some stair/railing projects today. Nate and I put railings on the front deck, so that the bank inspector wouldn't fall to his demise next Monday. We also put Water-Lox (an oil based sealer) on the inside red oak stairs and railings, which has darkened them up to more match the color of the floor (also red oak). We also put up simple handrails on the stairs down to the basement.

We also crossed a few other minor projects off our list today. Six more work days and counting.
