wow!!

Between 3pm Monday and 5pm today an amazing transformation took place as we installed 1x6 tongue and groove planks on the ceiling on the second floor ceiling. We got the idea from our friend's Chris and Gretchen (Aiden's folks) - and what an excellent idea it was! It looks fantastic and, even better, now it is done - no joints to mud and tape and no wallboard to prime and paint.

We were also lucky to have some extra hands on deck this week. Sarah, Matt, and their dog Jake arrived Monday. Although Sarah had to return to MA that night, Matt and Jake spent a chilly week in VT working on the house with Dad and Aaron. Sarah returned last night to retrieve her boyfriend and dog, along with Gram Moore to babysit for the weekend.
