mom's room

Pretty much since the first floor was framed, mom (Judy) has laid claim to the sunporch as "her room". She will be pleased to know that Aaron and I have made considerable progress in readying it over the past couple of days. Earlier in the week - Aaron put the final coat of mud on the walls and ceiling, sanded the whole thing, primed the whole thing, and started installing the tongue and groove planks on the north wall. Today, I painted the ceiling (plain ol' white) and the walls (bicsuit). Aaron hopes to finish installing the T&G tomorrow, and later this week we should be ready to tile the floor - we have about 30 boxes of natural slate tile in the basement waiting to be installed!!
