Grand Isle State Park

For the second straight year we spent a fantastic weekend at Grand Isle State Park, on Lake Champlain. We rented a site with a lean-to that faced the Lake, with a view of Camel's Hump (I always find it a little disorienting to be in Vermont and looking back across Lake Champlain to Vermont.). The weather was mixed - Friday was gorgeous up until about 8pm, when it rained for the better part of an hour. It rained again over night, and then Saturday was cool (~60F) but dry. This year we tried having the kids stay over night one, which went better than expected - Aaron and I are already talking about a four- or five-day weekend at the park next year and hope that a lot of you may join us!!
