conversation on this morning's commute

To be clear, morning conversations in our car tend to be one way - with Evie doing pretty much all the talking. Today she was talking all about the hand-turkeys Grammie Moore showed her how to make at dinner last night, about how she was going to show her teachers at school today how to make them, and about the four hand turkeys she made last night after dinner and before bed.

"I made four turkeys - a purple one, a green one, an orange one, and a yellow one. I made the purple one for me, because I like purple. I made the orange one for mommy because she likes orange. I made the green one for AJ because he asked me to. And I made the yellow one, and it came out weird so I gave it to daddy because he likes weird things..."
