Natick organic community farm...

Sarah and Matt's farm in Natick, MA is a nice little place for kids. They stay at the place in exchange for doing all the chores on the weekends. Evie and AJ got to help while they were there, which mostly involved a lot of getting in the way while adults tried to get everybody fed and watered. I think Evie also helped milk the goats. Did you know that rich people with an earth-friendly conscience will pay $10 a gallon for unpasteurized organic goat milk?? Neither did I, but it's true. Evie also got to brush up on her chicken-catching skills. AJ tried as well, but his Frankenstein-style running technique lacks the grace necessary to corner a scared hen.

We also got to meet Boris the pig, who we've heard a lot about. If I didn't tell you his name was Boris, would you be able to tell he was a boar instead of a sow? Judging from this picture, I think you would. Impressive.
