New addition

Happy Thanksgiving everybody. Hope everyone had a nice holiday. Julie and the kids went to Albany and then on to western NY to spend it with her mom's family. After some thought, I decided to spend the holiday here in VT by myself. There's still much to do on the house, and there were a million and one things here in our rental habitat that needed to be caught up on. It's amazing how little you get done around the house when you've worked every weekend for 7 months. So I've spent the last couple days in spring cleaning mode. Luckily, Julie was absent and unable to check the contents of any of the dozens of garbage bags full of "stuff" that ended up at the dump or salvation army today. What she doesn't know can't hurt her.

But just in case she does notice some of her things missing, I've smoothed it over by getting her the kitten she's been talking about for the last couple months. I picked her up today, and she's trying to settle into life here in Berlin. She's a smart cat, and already taken a healthy dislike to Farley. Oakley, on the other hand, is none to smart, and has likely already forgotten that there's a cat in the house. She's been spending some quality time under Julie's dresser. By the way Julie, if you're missing a green shirt, I know where it is. The cat has yet to be named, but some of the working suggestions are Bagheera, who was the black panther in the Jungle Book, Blackberry, and Scratchy. Any votes?
