kids and chickens

Spring has really sprung these past couple of days, and no one around the Moore house is more glad than our chickens, who spent the better part of the past four months inside their coop. Each day as the snow retreats there is a little more ground available for them to scratch. This (glorious!!) afternoon I let the kids get in there a play a little with their favorite feathered friends. Evie is holding "Daisy" and AJ a chicken he named "Feetwell". Don't ask - we don't know why either...
