staycation

I took this week off work - my first full week of vacation since we completed the house last spring - and how sweet it has been (and for that matter, will continue to be as it is only Friday)!!

We spent the past couple of days (and nights) in a leanto at the Little River State Park in Waterbury. The park had a nice playground and several beach areas on the Waterbury Reservoir. True to form, and even though the park was less than 20 miles from our house, Evie and AJ asked several times while in route "is it much further?"
