ice on fire

Almost two weeks ago now I took the kiddos to a full-on celebration of winter at the North Branch Nature Center. The days festivities inclued: parades, marshmallow roasting, storytelling, three-legged snowshoeing, igloos, face-painting, songs, readings, outdoor theater and an absolutely humongous bonfire.

The weather couldn't have been nicer (~30F and light snow) and a good time was had by all!
