ear muscles

Evie, AJ and I got geared up and headed outside this morning to enjoy a bit of sledding before the rain and 50-degree (!!) temperatures role in overnight. Nine times out of ten Evie will select the pink hat she is wearing in this picture, often telling AJ that the "ear muffs" help keep her extra warm. AJ dug around in the bag that holds all our mittens and hats for awhile this morning, eventually surfacing with the shown purple hat (also with ear flaps) and announced that he too now had "ear muscles"!!
