first big snow of the season

The past 24 hours have rendered Vermont a winter-wonderland with more than a foot of snow piling up. The kids school was closed yesterday, and Aaron played with Evie and AJ all day while I worked from home (although we all went out for some dusk-sledding). I, for one, am glad to be done with dreary, gray November days - if it is going to be cold, I much prefer there was snow!!
