christmas tree selection process

Late this morning we ventured out to Doc Murray's cut-your-own tree farm in Waterbury, with Christian and his boys to select Christmas trees for our respective homes. The farm is set on a series of rolling hills, and with last weeks snow well packed by folks who came before us to select trees the sledding and tree dragging was just excellent. (It is unclear if the farm is providing sleds for the kids or the trees...) With free hot chocolate set up next to where they "bale" your tree for easier travel - a good time was had by all (or at least most).
