making cider with the Browns

Some of our neighbors on Portal Road have a real, full-scale cider press. It also turns out that you can by "drops" at some of the local orchards for practically nothing. Three Fridays in a row last month the Browns went out and gathered drops, and three Fridays in a row we joined in the apple washing, pressing, and generally enjoying the cider and the company!
